Wilderness First Aid

This is a hands on in the outdoors practical use course for people who participate in wilderness activities more than two hours from definitive care (a hospital).

Topics Include

  • Introduction to the differences between urban and wilderness first aid

  • patient assessment

  • shock

  • wound management

  • burns

  • fractures

  • sprains, strains, dislocations

  • environmental emergencies

  • common wilderness medical problems

  • wilderness first aid kits

  • CPR for the wilderness.

BOOK NOW $150 per person. This course may be modified to include other wilderness topics and leadership skills. 3 days 1/2 of which will be in the wilderness performing scenarios.

Most certification's are good for 3 years.

CPR is recommended every year by Heart & Stroke Foundation.

All of our First Aid courses are APPROVED by and include all the WSIB course content.
